I couldn't be more proud of those educators who are waking up, standing up, and demanding a much needed change for themselves, their students, and their communities. My hope for this month is that every teacher, administrator, and district staff member starts to deeply reflect on these few questions: 1) Why am I still here? (In the field of education) 2) How do my choices to act or not act impact myself, students, and my colleagues? 3) What type of support do I need to be better at my job and how will I self-advocate for that support? 4) What is one action I can take to improve education in my classroom, school, or district?
